This is a journey of solidarity, life and death starting from a small border village (Maheser, Turkey), in anticipation for the war to end with victory and reaching to that city (Kobane, Syria) devastated by war. While the village is hoping for the liberation of the city, their children, relatives and friends are fighting for their land, independance and identity. The possibility of the liberation of this city, with the hope of a resurrection and a better world makes this expectation and struggle more significant. With the influence of the war that has been going on in Syria for more than five years now, the Kurdish city of Kobane, in the Rojava region, had been under siege of ISIS gangs, equipped with heavy arms. The city could only be liberated after four months. Many took refugee in the neighbouring country Turkey. On each side of this long border, more than being neighbours, where the family bonds exist, the war and the forced migration have brought them together in a tragic, unpredictable fate. This is the story of a war and resistance which was closely watched by the whole world, in its local context.
